    MV Switchgear (LBS) 12 kV

    A 12 kV load break switch sits before a 12 kV / 415 V transformer. If the transformer has to be shut down, the switch turns it off and the main distribution line to other users keeps running.

    It is a mechanical switch protection system and costs less than a VCB. Air-insulated LBS is one of the two types sold internationally, and most LBS users in Bangladesh choose it.

    LV Switchgear

    Asian Gear main distribution boards distribute and control power in large buildings such as shopping malls, hospitals, universities and hotels. They are installed after the main source, such as a transformer or generator, and divide the feed into outgoing feeders.

    Built in 14/16 SWG powder-coated sheet steel for indoor floor mounting, for three-phase, four-wire, 50 Hz, 440 V AC systems with a TPN+E busbar.

    Specifications

    • Compatible and ASTA type tested to IEC 61439-1 & 2.
    • Neutral busbars rated up to 100% of the main busbar; earth busbars up to 100% of the neutral busbar.
    • Internal arc fault tested to IEC 61641 up to 100 kA, classified as PSC assembly with personal and assembly protection under arcing.
    • Busbar and live parts spaced to European standards IEC 158 and VDE-C110 for 660 V.
    • Short-circuit withstand of 25–50 kA for 1 second.
    • Panel boards built to IEC 439 / BS 5486.
    • All circuit breaker units and panel boards comply with the 15th IEE wiring regulation for isolation and switching.
